Participants
must apply for admission by completing the registration form
and attaching a resumé with the names of two references who can
validate their professional experience and ability to participate in an
executive-level program and a $500 deposit (it is non-refundable, once
the applicant is accepted in the program). No advanced standing is permitted
and all participants must complete all three modules of the program in
sequence.
The fee for this program is $8,900, including all required materials,
selected texts, sponsor events, continental breakfasts, lunches and coffee
breaks during each four-day module. Fees must be paid in full prior to
the first module start date. Fees are non-refundable (participants who
withdraw completely from the program after the first module, however,
will be permitted a refund of 50 per cent).
Participants are expected to attend the modules as scheduled for their
cohort. In the event of unavoidable or emergency situations, participants
will be allowed to miss up to one scheduled module and complete that same
module the following year. They will be recognized as having completed
the program once the missed module is completed successfully. There is
a $100 change fee.
The IT Leadership Development Program is intended for participants who
have a post-secondary degree or equivalent experience and who have a minimum
of three to five years of managerial experience within IT or related functions
and who aspire to advance to executive-level positions as their next step.
A maximum of 40 participants are accepted into any cohort on a rolling
basis and admissions are considered as they are submitted.
Upon completion of all three program modules, including a pass grade on
each of the module final exams, the Ted Rogers School of Information Technology
Management will formally recognize each participant's achievement. As
such, he or she will become part of the School's alumni network and enjoy
the benefits of all annual alumni events designed to keep former students
in touch with advances in the industry and with peers and colleagues from
the program.
